NYC is the best!

Yesterday has been a long day for me. We decided to go to manhattan ! The daughter of Ralph and Christine lives there together with her husband. On our way to the city we drove through the forests in which there were a lot of fallen and broken trees. When I asked them about it, they told me about the hurricane of last year: Sandy. Trees were falling down, all cities near the water were flooded even in the subway and tunnels there was water. It hit New York severely, the whole city stood still for a couple of days. The effects are still visible today. We turned on the radio and sang along with all the songs. I found out some words were left out or changed, which was pretty funny to hear. After a long ride with a lot of traffic, we arrived at the restaurant on Broadway!! where we had brunch with all of us. Afterwards we went for a walk in Central Park. We witnessed a fight between two people who were beating each other, probably they had relationship struggles. Shara, the daughter, said:' welcome to NYC '. There is police everywhere, but where are the cops when you need them. After a nice walk we went to the natural history museum which was awesome to see in real life. It's the museum which could be seen in the movie: ' night at the museum'. Finally when the doors were almost closing we went home and got some delicious food on our way. We bought spaghetti at the Italian and some donuts! After dinner I was exhausted and went to bed:)
