The last week!

Wow, time past by soo fast! This is already the last week and it is wednesday already! Friday I'll leave to Holland again.. ;( Of course I'm looking forward to see my family and friends again, but god I wish I could stay in New York. What a beautiful city. In a short period of time I just fell in love with the city. So big, the city that never sleeps, feeling like home. And my hostfamily, I guess I couldn't have wished for anything better. Well maybe if the cat would have bit more social.. haha. Also my English has definitely improved. At first I was able to write everything down, but I had trouble finding words when I was talking. And I love the system of subways in NY, it is so easy. either you go uptown or downtown and you just take the subway. It will bring you everywhere and makes it possible for me to go all by myself sometimes. I'm just so glad I can experience this whole journey!

Soo, what have I been up to the last few days? Well on monday 12/5 I could sleep in for a bit, because I travelled with Nacha and Filipe to the office instead of with Ralph. It was their last day already and they would leave 8pm to Chile again. However they didn't see everything yet, so instead of staying home they went to the city to go to the Empire State Building and Madame Tussauds. At the same time I enjoyed myself with checking volumes and checking some data on papers. In the evening we have watched the Heat, which is an awesome movie that everyone should see!! I wanted to put up the photos from the Bronx Zoo however my laptop didn't function well so I postponded it again. I'll try to put them up tonight, because the pictures are great!!

Tuesday and today will be quite simmilar, because they are both working days. However today is my last day of work at the office, because I did finish my project today. Which is kinda nice because then I have a day off tomorrow. I will use it to pack my bags I guess, otherwise I will stress out on friday. When I was done with the last volume we had lunch and relaxed for a while. Then it was time for Cristine and Ralph to get back to work, so I was all by myself. As an independent young adult, ahum, I walked through the city and visited some shops. I bought Starbucks and returned. It was great and felt awesome, ow I'm gonna miss this city. (if my family is reading is, and they probably are, We Will Return ;) ).
It's now 4pm. and I'm waiting for Cristy and Ralph to be ready, because we will go out for dinner with Shara and Tony. It will be the last time I get to see them, which is a pity.

This is the last post which I write in New York, the next one will be the one I write in Holland. Probably while laying down in my lovely bed, looking forward to see everyone again! Thank you for reading all my blogposts, I hope I didn't bore you haha.
